At present, there are two complimentary trips per year to Capital One’s airport lounges for owners of the Capital One Venture and Spark Miles cards for business. However, as of January 1, 2025, these cardholders will no longer be eligible for this benefit. Despite this change, impacted cardholders will still be able to visit Capital One Lounges for themselves and their visitors for a discounted $45. Meanwhile, Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders will continue to have free, unlimited access for themselves and two guests.
While the loss of two complimentary visits may not be a significant issue, it does signal a shift in the offered benefits, and affected cardholders still experience a devaluation.

In a Nutshell
Capital One made a recent adjustment. Cardholders with the Capital One Venture & Spark Miles Cards for Business will lose two free lounge visits starting in 2025. This change may not have a significant impact as it only affects a small group of cardholders.
The adjustment seems to be driven by concerns about crowding in Capital One lounges at various airports. This sheds light on the reasoning behind the change. However, there is no simple way to measure lounge occupancy. The variety of visitor experiences further complicates the accurate determination of the entire impact. Depending on the time of day, different people have different experiences; some report crowded areas, while others report less activity. The occupancy rate of the lounge is subject to change throughout the day and is not publicly disclosed at this time.
All things considered, the change is regarded as a minor annoyance, and more information about its actual effects will become available from personal experiences on specific days and times.
